Carrier Commercial HVAC is part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions.

As part of Carrier’s ongoing partnership with the Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport’s BTCC team, Carrier employees were able to enjoy an unforgettable day of qualifying on Saturday, while strengthening connections within the team.

Complementing the electrifying sessions on the track, the group enjoyed VIP hospitality, with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. The day also included behind-the-scenes access to MB Motorsport’s garage, where employees and guests had the privilege of getting up close with the race cars and interacting with the team. The staff and their guests then had the chance to race around this iconic circuit on a racing simulator.

“It was an incredible day being trackside to watch the touring car qualifying,” said Adele Watson, Apprenticeship Programme Lead, Carrier. “My brother and I really enjoyed it, and we especially loved the tour of the car and garage, learning about all the tweaks the team constantly make to optimise the car. The atmosphere was electric and it’s brilliant to be part of such as great team and feel valued as an employee.”

The highlight of the day was the opportunity for the staff and their families to meet with MB Motorsport team principal and ex-Formula 1 and IndyCar race driver Mark Blundell. Mark gave an exclusive garage tour and provided a glimpse into the world of professional motorsport. Jake Hill, Laser Tools with MB Motorsport driver who now sits tied on points at the top of the BTCC standings after the weekend’s racing, also dedicated some time to the group to talk about his career and enjoy a few laps on the team’s driving simulator.

“We had an action-packed day at Silverstone with our colleagues and their families,” said Andrew Paddock, Managing Director Carrier Commercial HVAC UK and Nordics. “It’s great to be able to bring different areas of the business together to strengthen bonds, while acknowledging and celebrating their hard work and championing our dynamic and inclusive workplace culture. By offering opportunities for employees and their families to engage in unique and memorable activities, we reinforce our commitment to their well-being and professional growth. Carrier is dedicated to creating a workplace where everyone feels included and motivated to contribute to our collective success.”

The race weekend was complete as Carrier hosted a number of customers on Sunday to experience the racing action. Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport Jake Hill clinched 2nd, 1st, and 4th in the three races.
